Basic Rules to perform Mudras
- Anyone can perform Mudras gestures; ladies-gents, kids- Elderly, patient or person with no disease. Use both hands to perform mudra. Doing mudra by left hand benefits righ parts of the body and visa-versa.
- Mudras should be done 48 minutes throughout the day. Or-else one can do it 15-15 minutes at morning and evening.
- Mudras are more beneficial if it is performed during Padmasana, Vajrasana and Meditation. If you cannot do these asanas, you can perform any other asan.
- You can perform Pran mudra, Apan mudra, Gyan mudra as long as you wish to do. But, other mudras can be performed only to cure disease. Vayu, Shunya and Ling mudra can be done till you are having trouble.
- Apanvayu mudra is immediately beneficial to any disease related to heart. This affects same as injection. By the time you consult the doctor, it gives relief to the heart patient if this mudra is performed.
- It can be done parallel with the other treatment. Because, it does not creates any obstacles in the treatment, instead benefits it in a good way.
Vayumudra
Vayumudra is created when you place the tip of index finger to the base of the thumb. Then, give slight pressure to the index finger through thumb, keeping rest of the fingers straight. Vayumudra is more beneficial if it is performed during Vajrasan position.
Benefits:
1. Performing this mudra gesture, air related afflictions such as arthritis, gout, sciatica, knee pain and gas are relieved.
2. It is beneficial for diseases like Parkison, Sciatica, Polio, Paralysis, Crvical Spondylosis and knee pain.

Where the pressure is occurred on base of the thumb through index finger, there are interactive points that allow the whole body to be balanced and healthy.

Avoid performing this posture more than 30 minutes at a time. You can do it 15-15 minutes 2-3 times a day if needed. Stop doing this mudra once you are relieved from pain.
Aakashmudra
To create this mudra, place tip of middle finger to the tip of thumb, keeping rest of the three fingers straight.

Benefits:
1. This mudra is beneficial for any type of bone disease.
2. Calcium is gained by performing this mudra which helps in making bones stronger.
3. This mudra gesture makes teeth stronger and eliminates all the teeth related problems. It relieves pain occured in jaws created during yawning.
4. Since center finger is interrelated to heart, it is beneficial in any heart disease.
5. The person suffering from blood pressure, angina pain, or not having good pulse rate will not be able to perform this mudra properly. It will be corrected by practicing this mudra gradually.
6. If any disease related to ear is not cured only by performing shunyamudra, then you can also perform aakashmudra along with it.
Important to note:
It gives more benefits if this mudra is performed periodically. Do not reverse the hand while performing this mudra, keep the palm towards sky.
Shunyamudra
This mudra is created by placing base of the thumb to the tip of the middle finger giving slight pressure to it and keeping the rest of the fingers straight.
